The U.S. Small Business Administration has released a form of one page that makes it easier to apply for the cancellation of Paycheck Protection Program loans. The form is also updated with new forms that comply with the most recent stimulus law.

Congress approved the COVID-19 relief package in the month of March, which included $284 billion of financing to small businesses that needed loans. The money was intended to offset the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak. It included a requirement for the SBA to issue streamlined forms within the first 24 hours after the legislation was approved by the lawmaker to streamline the process of applying for forgiveness. The legislation also contained conditions designed to facilitate more bank loans by community banks, particularly for minority-owned businesses that struggled to get loans last year.
