Student Loan Forgiveness Where To Send Form

The U.S. Small Business Administration has issued a one-page form that simplifies the application for forgiveness of Paycheck Protection Program loans. It also includes newly revised forms to comply with the latest stimulus legislation.

The COVID-19 relief package that Congress passed last month revived the PPP with $284 billion of funding for small businesses seeking forgivable loans to help them deal with the financial fallout from the coronavirus outbreak. The law requires that the SBA provide simplified forms within 24 hours after the bill’s passage into law. This was done to simplify the process of applying for forgiveness. Additionally, it included conditions to encourage community banks to lend more specifically to minority-owned companies who had a difficult time getting loans last year.
