The U.S. Small Business Administration has released a form of one page that simplifies the application for forgiveness of Paycheck Protection Program loans. It also includes newly revised forms to comply with the current stimulus law.

The COVID-19 relief package that Congress passed last month revived the PPP with $284 billion of funds for small businesses that want forgiven loans to help to deal with the effects of economic collapse of the coronavirus epidemic. The law required that the SBA release simplified forms within the first 24 hours of the legislation’s signing into law. This is to facilitate the application for forgiveness. Additionally, it included conditions that encourage banks in the community to lend more, especially to minority-owned businesses that had difficulty getting loans last year.
