The U.S. Small Business Administration has released a form of one page that makes it easier to apply for forgiveness of Paycheck Protection Program loans. The form is also updated with new forms to comply with the current stimulus legislation. 

The COVID-19 relief plan that Congress adopted last month revived the PPP with $284 billion of financing for small-scale businesses looking for forgiven loans to help to deal with the effects of economic collapse from the coronavirus outbreak. It also included a requirement that the SBA to issue simplified forms within 24 days after the legislation was adopted to make the process of applying for forgiveness. It also included conditions that aim to increase the number of bank loans by community banks, especially for minority-owned businesses who were unable to obtain loans in the past.
