PPP Loan Forgiveness Application And Instructions

The U.S. Small Business Administration has released a form of one page that makes it easier to apply for the cancellation of Paycheck Protection Program loans. The form also contains newly updated forms that are in line with the most recent stimulus law.

Congress approved the COVID-19 relief package in the month of March, which included $284 billion of financing to small businesses in need of loans. The funds were used to reduce the economic burden of the coronavirus epidemic. It included a requirement for the SBA to issue simplified forms within the first 24 hours after the legislation was approved by the lawmaker to streamline the application process for forgiveness. The legislation also contained conditions meant to encourage more bank loans by community banks, specifically for minority-owned businesses who had trouble getting loans in the past.
