10 Year Student Loan Forgiveness

The U.S. Small Business Administration has released a 1-page form which makes it simpler to request forgiveness of Paycheck Protection Program loans. The form is also updated with new forms that are in line with the most recent stimulus law.

Congress approved the COVID-19 relief package in the month of March, which included $284 billion of financing for small-scale businesses who needed loans. This money was used to reduce the economic burden of the coronavirus outbreak. It included a requirement for the SBA to issue streamlined forms within 24 hours of the bill being approved by the lawmaker to streamline the process of applying for forgiveness, along with conditions designed to facilitate more loans from community banks, specifically for minority-owned businesses that struggled to get loans last year.
